A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. Tired of the loosely French inspired humdrum of restaurants popping up across the city of London? Do you like holidays? Do you like cold drinks and warm service? The idea came from a mirror in an antiques market and a love for a more informal approach to dining, the result is a chippy in North London with old church pews bolted to the walls to be leaned on and eaten from. The focus is on fish but the menu transcends fish, mammals and vegetables, leaving no stone unturned in the never ending quest for flavour. Split between two rooms, the front the engine, the kitchen and bar shared by customers as they perch on bar stools and enjoy dinner and a show. The back, bookable room is lower, lower lighting, lower seating, perhaps a slight calm compared to the front room, here works of art from friends of the restaurant adorn the walls and floors.Book now to reach Nirvana.

Yummy! So filling & great value everything was good. Only thing is it’s winter so wish they hot hot drink on the menu. I was with my daughter who unfortunately has a cold and couldn’t get a drink because all their drinks were in the fridge. Only reason I’ve removed one star.

The food was delicious! We particularly enjoyed the spicy tuna sushi rolls and the tuna tacos (except the tacos were VERY small). The ambience was nice, there’s parking onsite and staff were friendly. Our only complaint is that service was slow from start to finish, which was a shame. I would recommend this restaurant as the food was lovely and it’s good value for money. Just be prepared to wait a little longer for orders etc (unless they work on this) 🍱✨💕
