A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. Overall experience was good as always at the pub, however the food experience is less positive and appears to have declined in recent times. Ordered a vegan burger, which costs £18 and it was completely overdone and burnt. The burger itself isn't particularly great compared to some better quality plant based ones out there, so this only adds to the poor taste. Overall, great for drinks but very average food (for the price)

Food was delicious especially the Bravas Chips and Cod with Curry. Very busy as expected so it was as difficult for staff to be as attentive as I expect they would be at quieter times. Overall though it’s really about the food quality and that made it 5*

The burger is great and even better we were very kindly given fried potatoes with aioli for free - these were to die for and I’m so glad we didn’t miss out on them! Worth every penny

We had the most amazing time! Astonishingly good, sublime, the food was incredible. Perfect from start to finish. Lovely staff: the server made great suggestions and hit the mark every time. We’re so glad we took his advice. One of the best meals out in a long time. A lively, convivial atmosphere. It’s not cheap but worth every single penny. A night to remember. So happy to have eaten at The Parakeet!
