Para entrar al salón hay que subir un angosto tramo de escaleras desde la calle de ladrillos rojos. La sala es amplia y abierta y a la vez está llena de recovecos. A un lado está revestida por una pared de ventanas, y al otro tiene una magnífica barra de zinc acanalado. Esto hace de contrapunto a la belleza íntima de proporciones perfectas de su pequeño establecimiento asociado de la planta baja. El French Saloon se inspira en la decadencia y la familiaridad de los bares y bistros de París, abarcando de finales del siglo XIX a principios del siglo XX, y encuentra afinidad en el disfrute de una compañía estridente y una sensación de travesura. It’s Indian food done a bit differently and it tastes great. The wait staff were great. They took time to discuss Kahaani’s dishes, how they were different, and help with suggestions. We chose the Make My Feast Banquet option that allowed us to sample the menu and at $57 pp was great value. We were not disappointed in any of the dishes. My personal favourites were the Daal Pakwaan and the Parda Biryani. I’m looking forward to our next visit.
