What a mind blowing experience. Absolutely nothing short of spectacular. The service, food, and ambience were first class. An amazing team of people at the top end of there game. Donovan’s = excellence! From the warm welcome, to the diverse menu, the delightful waiter skills of Isabella, and the most delicious food, this was the perfect way to celebrate my friend’s 95th birthday. Thanks to all at Donovan’s.

Christmas lunch - and what a scrumptious lunch the three of us had. The freshest, tastiest oysters, the most delicious thymey terribe, a generous charcuterie board, home made breads, and salmon tartare - sooo good. There was plenty of choice for all food preferences. Our mains of duck breast, beef fillet and scallops were all perfectly cooked and presented followed by an amuse bouche that was both tangy, sweet and very refreshing. Daughter and I opted for creme brulee which was perfect - not too rich or sweet, silky smooth with its glowing toffee crust. Husband had the apple and blueberry crumble which he declared to be “yummy”. All with friendly service. A lovely lovely team who gave up their Xmas day to provide a memorable meal and day for us. Thank you so much, and thank you to the chefs, kitchen crew - and to the awesome magician who provided great tricks and laughs.
