Gigino Trattoria abrió sus puertas en agosto de 1994. Los propietarios, Bob Giraldi y Phil Suarez, junto con el jefe de cocina Luigi Celentano, han mantenido a Gigino floreciente en el área siempre cambiante de Tribeca. El chef Celentano crea tanto el menú como la carta de vinos, con especialidades diarias de pescado y marisco fresco de temporada, carne de caza y verduras. Gigino se enorgullece en el hecho de que todos los platillos son preparados a la orden y la mayoría de sus pastas y panes son hechos en casa. We are a first come first serve all day restaurant. Walk-ins of all party sizes are encouraged at any time!Our journey started on a quiet West Village street called Carmine. Two brothers, Dave and Pete, made a bold decision. Without any business experience, any real plan, or anything resembling a thought beyond getting through the day, we opened a restaurant. What we had lacked in experience we made up for with spirit and creativity. We did not want to be businessmen. We were artists. Our little shop at 33 Carmine St. was our original canvas. We set out with a simple mission: to create a place where people would want to be. We named it after our dogs, Moose and Goose Lane. Our Nolita location opened four years later in 2011.

Los tragos súper divertidos (aunque algo cargados jajaja) y creativos. La comida estuvo espectacular, pedimos como entrada el pulpo y los dumplings de cordero, que estaban magníficos; el salmón riquísimo y los gnocchi con pollo una pasada. Desde el inicio nos atendieron súper súper bien.
