I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. Ok, so we have fancy wine glasses, twinkling candles, nice chairs and really shiny cutlery, but don't let that fool you... The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. We had a fabulous lunch. Food was wonderful and the service fantastic. It got a little noisy as it got busier but that’s more an observation than a complaint. We highly recommend! And if you go just to do a tasting, their wines are excellent!

Must visit this beautiful gem!!! The food was a highlight for us!!! Every meal not only looked good, but exceeded expectations in terms of taste. Great value for money. Service was good. Must try the chocolate Brownie!!! Gooey on the inside, melt in your mouth!!!

Highly recommend Jimmy Rum for a relaxing and easy night out. Food is delicious with many tasty share plates. Lots of drink choices too. Definitely coming back with friends to enjoy this very cozy, funky, friendly (staff) local eatery.
