'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. This is a little gem of a place located near to Hampton Court. The food is wonderful and reminds me of my trip to Japan. Cooking at your own table is a delight with all the help you need if you need it to enjoy the flavours of Japan.

Great restaurant - the food and service was exceptional. Very limited choice in Surbiton for a decent restaurant and it is great we have discovered this. Will definitely return
