One of the very best restaurants in North Norfolk in the prettiest of settings. Charming service and a great ambience. A five star experience.

We booked The Lodge at Salhouse off the cuff on the same day( New yrs day) as had not been before and they did not disappoint. From start to finish it was a lovely experience, polite and friendly staff, lovely decor and table setting. Food was delicious, served hot and plenty to fill you up. I had chicken supreme with a truffle veloute and dauphnoise potatoes, portion sizes are very generous, My partner had the belly pork and it was huge lol but he was in food heaven lol x Service was prompt, friendly and overall a very lovely experience x

First class service, first class food, absolutely one of the best on the coast, having lived here for 15 years, family friendly. A must for all visitors!

Been looking forward to visiting the Dun Cow for a while and we were not disappointed . Lovely warm welcome on arrival ,shown to lo table looking overlooking the marsh where we watched a Marsh Harrier hunting the reeds for prey . The food was excellent , as was the service . The pub has a a really nice atmosphere , would highly recommend and will be returning asap .

The food was excellent and there’s a good young team of Chefs who are doing a great job worthy of their Michelin rating. The owners have also invested a lot of money too to create this purpose built building. It’s very nice. Service staff however lack a bit of training and/ or appropriate experience when compared to other places of a similar standing.
