Hopheads is a bar and bottle store dedicated to selling the absolute best Australian and International beers.Our original store was founded in May 2015 and stemmed from the relevant question (at the time) – ‘why aren’t there any good beer stores and bars in the west?’ Founder and beer afficionado Adrian Chong (and long suffering partner Wai Lee) were tired of having to travel across town to access quality beers, so they took it upon themselves to right this egregious wrong – and so the idea of Hopheads was born.Hopheads has since expanded to a second store in Altona, injecting some young blood into the team in the form of the somewhat magnificent Ryan Cochrane.We remain passionate about making the West-side the best-side for beer in Victoria.     We enjoyed the service today. Wait staff were very friendly. The main course food took a long time to come as it was busy. It would be good to put some noise absorbing materials as the restaurant with its hard surfaces was very loud. The people were great, food nice wine nice and the view outstanding.

    Raw tuna in crispy wonton is an outstanding dish - great combination of quality fresh ingredients, flavour & texture. And the fish curry (barramundi?) was again, the result of skilled perfection. The food is exactly WHY we are happy to pay for food, the way it is supposed to be cooked - by people who know what they are doing! Thankyou.

    Outstanding service from our waiter, excellent recommendations for share platters to start off our lunch, food was tasty, good portions and and great presentation could not fault this venue all in all a very good experience thank you

    We had an enjoyable couple of hours listening to the live music while trying some different stouts. Bringing our own snacks was a great option.
