Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines and a menu that reflects the great British pub, using fresh ingredients all cooked to order.     Excellent and friendly service from the staff. A nice relaxed atmosphere too. All the dishes of food were well presented and tasted delicious! We will be returning to The Wattenden Arms to enjoy their breakfast this Sunday.

    Had a fantastic time. Ordered a few platters and some starters. Everything is so fresh and cooked to perfection. There were 17 of us and the service was remarkable also the mocktails are deliciously refreshing on the palette. A wonderful first experience and I will be visiting again.

    5 star place, 5 star people - felt looked after like one of the family. Seafood cooked to perfection, beautiful torta di mele, first rate espresso, well recommended Chablis.

    The restaurant now has a lovely cosy feel. Great food and service, big portions so good value, last time I had the pork belly bites for starter and they were delicious, my partner said he could just eat a whole bowl of them. This time I had the fish and chips and enjoyed it. Service all round was excellent, friendly and helpful, need to try the sunday roast next. Will definitely return and would absolutely recommend
