Chat Thai became an instant smash hit in 1989 when it opened its first restaurant with plenty of heat and authentic Thai dishes. We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay. Searching all across Sydney for the correct vegetables, herbs and sauces Amy was able to set herself apart through a stubborn dedication to reminding diners of their unforgettable food experiences on the streets of Bangkok.Three decades later we are proud to continue Amy’s vision by adding organic vegetables from Boon Luck Farm to serve up authentic Thai dishes we ourselves want to eat. Amazing restaurant. Service was very professional, yet personal, from when we entered the day and until we left. Very service minded and smiling personnel. Food was the best Japanese food I have had, and I am definitely going back to try more things on the menu. There are simply too many good things to cover with one meal.

Great place to go, especially if you have a play to catch at the Opera House. Conveniently situated by the trains and Light rail. Food was really tasty, staff very attentive, and the restaurant very busy, it is best to book. We will definitely return there.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, food incredible! We asked to move to a nicer table and it was all fine, slight mistake with the bill that was quickly sorted. Again food is incredible!
