El Bellevue fue adquirido recientemente por los propietarios del establecimiento GAZETTE y aspira a ser muy frecuentado por los sibaritas londinenses. Cuenta con vistas al green de cricket y a Wandsworth Common. Además, su decoración reproduce la historia y esencia de la localidad: de tonos verdes intensos, con paredes revestidas de madera y detalles encantadores al estilo rural francés, todo ello bajo un techo acristalado antiguo con armazón de hierro forjado. Gracias a su terraza cómoda, el Bellevue es también un destino ineludible para quienes disfrutan comiendo al aire libre. Los precios son sorprendentemente asequibles, por lo que resulta difícil resistirse a un postre de fondant de chocolate o escuchar las anécdotas sobre los quesos de los "terroirs" franceses.

Great food, friendly and professional service, and a lovely, relaxed feel. We sat outside in the spring sunshine, soaking up the peace and quiet of the Common. Both diners had the burgers which were substantial and delicious, especially with the chunky hand-carved chips. For pudding, we had the creme brule and the apple and rhubarb crumble with vanilla custard - both were presented beautifully and in exactly the right proportions - not too big nor too small. We were both driving, so unable to take advantage of the tempting wines.

The staff were outstanding and went over and above during the meal. The food was great and being able to have a vegan desert was an added bonus.
