Welcome to The Boat Inn.The Boat Inn Penkridge was built at the same time as the Staffs and Worcs Canal in 1779 and is one of the old ‘Gateways’ to the Village, for many years it was the first or last stopping point, as locals and visitors travelled along the Cannock Road. Absolutely outstanding! Very attentive, friendly and warm welcoming staff. The restaurant and toilets were immaculate and beautifully decorated. Such a warm homely atmosphere. The food was incredible and worth every penny! We’ll definitely be returning soon!!

Really love this place for Sunday lunch. They offer a wide selection of food as well as Sunday roasts but in the roasts they offer Chicken, Pork, Lamb or Beef. All Roasts come with roast potatoes and veggies as well as extra gravy (if requested). The staff are very friendly and efficient and there is a good amount of parking outside (private to the pub). Highly recommend!
