Rocky Bottoms started out as an 1800s brick kiln with a purpose to fire bricks. Eventually the brick kiln was unable to compete with larger competitors and closed down after WW2. Since this time the brick kiln has offered itself as agricultural storage until it collapsed and stood derelict.In 2008 the brick kiln’s potential and need of restoration was spotted by local fishing family; The Matthews. After years of love and attention, Rocky Bottoms, as we know it today was born. Our doors opened in May 2015, just in time for the start of the crab season. We deliver local shellfish from pot to plate in a laid back environment. Rocky Bottoms believes in enjoying the simpler things in life!

Welcome to The Ship Inn. We are a pub in the heart of Weybourne.We have a menu using the best of local produce, including seafood landed on the beach at Weybourne!We have a great bar area, with a roaring log burner in winter, two dining areas and a lounge. We are dog friendly but we ask that Fido is kept on leads at all times. Dogs are permitted in the bar, bar dining area and garden, but not in the lounge and main dining room.     We booked a table for two in the restaurant and we well pleased with the whole experience. The food was excellent and extremely good value. Every member of staff was helpful and knowledgeable. We plan to call back again before too long!

    We love dining at Marlings and as always the service is of a high standard. So pleased to see a revised menu as I was disappointed with the previous menu choices. We dined with friends and all the food ordered was excellent.

    My wife and I agreed that the grilled chicken was one of the best dishes we had enjoyed recently. It sounds a very boring dish but this was far from the truth! The chicken was delicious and very moist. It was served with spinach, matchsticks of bacon, pearl onions galore mushrooms and just enough sauce! The grilling process had seared the skin nicely and not caused the chicken to be remotely dry. If it’s still on the menu when we visit again - we will probably be totally boring and order it again. Our compliments to the chef!

    At the absolute top of places I'm lucky enough to have eaten. Delicious authentic locals sourced food. Friendly and fun people working here who make it a superb environment and just a lovely vibe. So many nice touches... but fundamentally DELICIOUS food 🫶😋
