Our newly refurbished restaurant is now open. Join us for relaxed beachside dining with the most stunning backdrop of Blackpool Sands. Our Head Chef Sam has created a range of fantastic dishes from beachside staples to seafood specials. Join us daily from 9am to 4pm; with breakfast served until 11.00am and lunch available until close. Teas, coffees, drinks, cakes and pastries served all day. Delicious Sunday lunch through the Winter months. Please note that during the summer we do not take bookings and welcome walk ins only.

Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour. It was the first restaurant in Torquay to be awarded a Michelin star which it maintains today. We aim to source all our ingredients locally and sustainably, many from our dedicated farm in Brixham. Exquisite service from start to finish. Food was excellent Definitely Michelin star quality. Duck breast and venison were cooked to perfection. Very tender and so many flavours. High standards all round. First visit and will definitely return Highly recommended!

Our family of six ranging in ages from 9 to 69 came for the Christmas Party menu Saturday lunch time. The service was warm and welcoming. The food a delight especially the beetroot cured salmon starter and parsnip valoute. Followed by delicious Turkey with all the trimmings and a vegetarian Wellington. The children had tasty burgers and chips. The chocolate tart was tasty. There were plenty of staff to serve us and it was nice to have crackers. The cafe is beautifully decorated for Christmas. All in all a lovely experience. Thank you.
