Enjoyed a very pleasant afternoon at The Holt, afternoon tea was lovely, nice atmosphere and decorated with Christmas tress and a lovely fire. Nice to have warm scones as some places do not do this, and nice sandwiches and cakes. We needed to do a last minute change with the sandwich's from their menu, and the were very obliging to do so.

A lovely date night with excellent service and wonderful food and drink, we started with a delicious pornstar martini and then had a lovely bottle of Italian red wine. We enjoyed the Christmas menu with a great choice of starters mains and desserts

All staff extremely happy, friendly and attentive. Felt that the food could have been a bit hotter. Must admit that the roast beef was quite tough.

We’ve been dining for 3 nights at the Holt hotel and every time it was delicious and the service 10 out 10, a bit expensive but everything is I guess these days. Highly recommend the restaurant and the hotel! 🥰

Staff are always great , food this time wasn’t as good as usual - wasn’t busy but food was not great, was just okay
