August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Wednesday - Saturday, and from 12pm for Sunday Lunch. With a quiet and peaceful Alfresco area, Good Grace is a a true escape and nice place to relax. Organically sourced coffee and with quality produce and sustainability at the forefront of the restaurant offering. Good Grace also has a large courtyard/beer garden and function space for up to 100 guests at the rear of the restaurant. With a more casual vibe, the space can be hired our for groups of 30-100 people, as well as having diners visit Wednesday to Sunday evenings, with different events happening throughout the year. Outstanding food in an unpretentious space. Don’t let the prices put you off. The meals are to share and for 4 people we shared 2 mains, but had 4 entrees and 6 oysters. The oysters were surprising - I don’t even like oysters, but these were magnificent. Seriously delicious food and great wines.

Repeat visit and elected to sit inside. Great art on display. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was tasty and well presented. Thoroughly recommend an upmarket cafe with diverse menu, situated in lovely bamboo garden surrounded by classy plant nursery. Not cheap but well worth the money.

Our lunch party of 12 ladies for a birthday celebration all enjoyed their mains, after sharing a delicious haloumi and foccacia with dips. Thank you for allowing me to bring the champagne! We sat outside on the terrace, which was perfect. Nice and quiet so we could chat in comfort. There was a varied choice of mains and salads to choose from. Would definitely recommend Good Grace
