August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Wednesday - Saturday, and from 12pm for Sunday Lunch. Good Grace also has a large courtyard/beer garden and function space for up to 100 guests at the rear of the restaurant. With a more casual vibe, the space can be hired our for groups of 30-100 people, as well as having diners visit Wednesday to Sunday evenings, with different events happening throughout the year. It was a very good experience, staff were lovely and kind in assisting myself and my partner to our table. The food was delicious and presented every well. The atmosphere was a little loud but that’s the environment of the restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Manager was overly concerned in choice to take home left over cakes from high tea. We had already agreed that the store held no responsibility. Left a slightly bitter taste after such a wonderful experience.

Excellent food on Sunday Lunch Sardine with fermented carrots on sourdough had balanced acidity The truffle stracciatella and hazelnuts/fresh figs was a cool dish with refreshing complexity Pork and cold iceberg was a brilliant Sunday roast On balance I would drop the music volume and mix it up on the playlist I will be back for excellent service and eclectic food.❤️😇

Brunch is always an absolute treat at Good Grace. Incredibly dog friendly. The staff are absolutely fabulous and the food is unique ie not something we would or could prepare at home grnerous servings. The best freshest local ingredients. Congratulations again to Darryl and his team 🤗
