Fantastic service and beautiful food but exceptionally cold! I would have given this 5 stars were it not for the fact that the restaurant is really cold; we ate with our coats and scarves on and others were doing the same. It was a shame as the food and service were brilliant.

One of the best hidden gems in Balham. Always worth a stop for great food and terrific wines.

Great food, friendly and professional service, and a lovely, relaxed feel. We sat outside in the spring sunshine, soaking up the peace and quiet of the Common. Both diners had the burgers which were substantial and delicious, especially with the chunky hand-carved chips. For pudding, we had the creme brule and the apple and rhubarb crumble with vanilla custard - both were presented beautifully and in exactly the right proportions - not too big nor too small. We were both driving, so unable to take advantage of the tempting wines.

Lovely location and scenery. Good service they were very attentive. Good portions were good and food came out hot.

We had a lovely meal. The food was genuinely tasty, cooked by an Italian chef in the open plan kitchen. Friendly service too. We will be back!
