Amazing place, I’ve never seen staff so organised and friendly, you get treated like royalty as soon as you arrive, place is beautiful, food is amazing and very good portions, the mock tails are a little more then thought but that’s doesn’t matter as they are made from real fruit and taste amazing Defo recommend this place

Great experience mostly because we visited on Valentines Day the ambiance was amazing

We had a wonderful evening celebrating Valentine's Day at Cogs. We received a very warm welcome and were seated at a table of our choice promptly, despite arriving early for our reservation. The service throughout was exceptional; our waitress was friendly and informative. The food was lovely we had different starters; I had the Thai-style fish cakes, He had the strawberry and beetroot salad. Both were very well-presented and tasty. The main course was a sharing mixed grill, and the variety of meats were cooked perfectly. The dessert was a sharing salted caramel Eton mess and we ate it with gusto, despite being almost full from the previous two courses. Overall, we would both highly recommended Cogs for a celebration meal.

Overall food and service was very good. It was a Tuesday lunchtime so not very busy, so any ambiance was lost in the emptiness! Everyone enjoyed their meal, however the Carbonara was unusually sub par particularly as it was made with tagliatelle not spaghetti as was always the case.

Good food at a fair price in a lively atmosphere. Prawns as a starter were standout.
