Inside, our pub has everything you could wish for in a traditional village local, including freshly prepared food, a fine selection of cask ales, open wood burning fires, traditional flagstone flooring and wooden beams, and extensive wine list. Part of The Angel Hotel, an old coaching inn in the centre of town, Bill's Guildford restaurant is very pretty. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between, this is the perfect place to take a break from shopping. The lower floor is stunning at night time, with stone floors, archways and vaulted ceilings. It's a real step back in time, complete with twinkling candles and chandeliers. The restaurant also has a private dining room for up to 30 people.

We met members of our family here, because it’s halfway between our houses. Great food, excellent service, nice ambience. An all round great place to eat, highly recommended. It’s just a shame it’s not closer to where we live, because we’d go there more often.
