Salt's name comes its Salthill locale - which itself was derived from salt works that were once here - plus the nearby sea and, of course, the seasoning. Had a lovely meal, ordered starter I'd never tasted before and it was too spicy for me I couldn't eat it, I was offered alternatives but I didn't accept mainly because it was my choice of starter there was nothing wrong with it, it was however taken off the bill, was a lovely gesture, thank you

The food was top notch. The staff are very attentive and courteous. There is a lovely vibe in the pub. Only fault was the Latte was not the best just okay.
