Le Bouchon Brasserie & Hotel es un edificio de estilo georgiano de 300 años de antigüedad catalogado como grado II (En el Reino Unido los edificios de interés histórico o arquitectónico se enlistan de acuerdo al tipo de edificio. Los grado II son edificios particularmente importantes que despiertan un interés especial). El lugar ha sido objeto de un programa extensivo de decoración para restaurar el edificio a su antigua gloria. El periodo de renovación se utilizó para combinar algunas características de la época original de la construcción con muebles y decoración de estilo clásico que complementa la esencia original de la edificación. Le Bouchon Brasserie ofrece una mezcla de gastronomía francesa y británica en un entorno íntimo y relajado. Los comensales pueden disfrutar de platillos elegidos a la carta o escoger entre la amplia selección de menús establecidos en diferentes momentos de la semana. A un costado del Le Bouchon se encuentra el hermoso canal de navegación de Chelmer y Blackwater (un canal artificial donde se unieron los ríos Chelmer y Blackwater) que fue inugurado en 1797 y fluye de Springfield Basin en Chelmsford hasta la esclusa oceánica en Heybrigde Basin, cerca de Maldon. Second time we’ve been to Harry’s Bar recently and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They have a good wine collection with prices to suit all budgets, the food is tasty and come in decent portions and the service is great. Will definitely be booking again soon

Lovely friendly service. Sat outside on the decked area on a lovely sunny day. Food was excellent - all 4 of us had a lovely meal. Would recommend.
