The staff were lovely and the ambience was perfect. Would highly recommend.Más informaciónThe Chequers - BathPrecio: moderado• Británica• Bath•4,6

Very grateful for the team making a fuss of my son on his birthday. Would definitely recommend!Más informaciónThe Duke of OxfordPrecio: moderado• Británica• Weston-Super-Mare•4,3
- JJulietBath/Somerset •1 valoración5.0Comieron hace 7 díasAfter an hour’s walk on a misty betwixmas morning, myself, husband and trusty black lab Jack, settled into a cosy corner of the bar for lunch (booked in advance given the time of year). Despite the ‘not wanting to eat for a month’ feeling post Christmas turkey, the walk and perusing the varied menu did the trick in building up our appetites! Having seen the list of desserts, we decided to skip the small plates despite how tempting they were. I had the lamb shank, washed down with a warming glass of Merlot. The lamb was everything you’d want from a perfectly cooked shank - meat melting off the bone, coupled with fluffy Parmesan and garlic mash, red cabbage and a delicious sauce. My husband chose the cheddar soufflé which was gooey perfection accompanied by potatoes and greens. The presentation of both dishes was excellent. For dessert, I went for the vanilla and maple cheesecake with salted caramel sauce whilst my husband had the sticky toffee pudding with a specially made for him sticky toffee sauce (the menu had a brandy sauce but my husband doesn’t consume any alcohol) and ice cream. This was also delicious. Again, both desserts were beautifully presented with redcurrant and blackberry garnishes. The staff were attentive to the perfect degree, the bar area was clean, tidy and nicely laid out. The complimentary still or sparkling water was a nice touch. Overall the meal and experience was 5 star. We will definitely be back, maybe even with the teenagers! Would thoroughly recommend!Más informaciónThe Cross House InnPrecio: moderado• Británica• Bath•4,8
- JJulieBath/Somerset •4 valoraciones5.0Fecha de la visita: 15 dic 2024Lovely food, could maybe be a touch more generous with veg on the roasts, but overall great food. The starter dish of the chicken tenders are epic, so lovely and fresh and generous sized tenders. Lovely atmosphere. We visited just before Christmas / mid December, and the pub and restaurant have been so nicely decorated.Más informaciónThe Moorend SpoutPrecio: moderado• Gastrobar• Bristol•4
