Mele e Pere es un restaurante italiano diferente ubicado en el Soho de Londres y dirigido por Peter Hughes y Andrea Mantovani del galardonado Wild Honey. Desde el momento en que el comensal llega y observa las manzanas y peras en el cristal de Murano de la ventana de Mele e Pere, sabe que encontrará algo especial, como el interior del sótano, que es completamente diferente a cualquier restaurante italiano que haya visitado antes, iluminado con lámparas de mesa y decorado con audaces obras de arte abstracto. El menú está compuesto por un puñado de platillos bien seleccionados de toda Italia, como el pescado a la veneciana (con hierbabuena y bañado en una salsa de vino blanco), camarones sicilianos, abundantes opciones de carne roja y estómago desde Roma y el norte.
