Patri has several meanings, in Hindi it means Pavement, in Urdu it means Track and in ancient Sanskrit its means a vessel or small furnace. The name took us back to our origins and we decided to use Pavement, Tracks, and Furnace to come up with a street food menu contains all three elements. Our starters are street food classics on pavements in India and Pakistan. Our grills are freshly cooked in the tandoor at over 400 degrees to replicate cooking in a furnace. This is a wonderful newcomer to Brentford, and as they’re settling in we’re seeing the menu evolve with the seasons, and some great new dishes. This time perfectly cooked octopus to start, and as a main delicious hake on a butter bean stew with cavolo nero. My daughter had the lamb with pearly barley risotto, another triumph as we swapped and shared. Don’t miss out on their fabulous food.

The staff were very friendly and efficient, the food was delicious and good value for money. We had a lovely evening here and will definitely be coming back.

Food was delicious served by very pleasant staff. Glad we'd booked, as our table was in an area away from the main throng. The lighting may not have been as pleasing, (a little bright), but at least it was away from the screaming kids. Noise levels in the main body of the area were high.
