Here at the Ship in Distress, we are the perfect retreat to sit back, relax and indulge in our delicious food with the perfect drink in hand. We love our coastal location and our bar pays tribute to this with a fittingly traditional nautical theme! Dogs are welcome and we've got a large car park for visitors and plenty of seating space. As a coeliac I was told the meal I had was gluten free, gammon, eggs, chips and onion rings. I do not believe that the onion rings were gluten free and I was instantly glutened within an hour.

First class again, but that's why we chose it. We wanted to eat somewhere with flavoursome food realistic prices and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Great night for family birthday at The Cow. Staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. Went on a Friday night when the burger offer made the overall cost cheaper which was great and unexpected as had already viewed the menu and prices before attending. Would recommend
