There are two dining spaces at Cotswold House, as well as an option to have lunch or dinner at our sister property The Noel Arms directly opposite.The juxtaposition of our relaxed Cocktail Bar area and sophisticated Hidcote Brasserie & Grill restaurant creates a two-concept dining experience. Linked together, these spaces offer the best of both worlds. The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers an informal dining experience, this is where the bar is located so expect a livelier vibe, cocktail shakers, the gurgling espresso machine and locals coming and going. Dogs are welcome too. Hidcote Brasserie & Grill is a little more sedentary, romantic even, and is located in a beautiful high ceilinged Regency room. The same menu is served in both spaces for dinner.The Chipping Campden Cocktail Bar offers a wide range of wines by the glass, as well as an enviable Gin selection. A cocktail list is also on offer, with a choice of classics or something new to try.

We are open for our full a la carte restaurant service from Monday to Saturday each week with tables from 18:00 until 20:30. We are closed for dinner on Sunday, but the bar is open. We offer lunches daily and our wonderful Sunday lunch has tables from 12:00 until 16:00. We chose the tasting menu accompanied by the wine flight and it proved to be a superb choice. The attention to detail throughout the meal was excellent aided by very attentive and informative staff, who looked after us in the best possible way. I would recommend eating at this restaurant to anyone who enjoys fine dining.

We throughly enjoyed our food and the ambiance of the dining room and hotel, however we were expecting the usual lunch menu and not the taster menu. This was not clear on the website when we booked. We did however think the taster menue excellent value for such excellence.

Excellent food, great taste with cool atmosphere in a small, efficient restaurant. Had a great birthday meal and everyone enjoyed their food, I'm a vegetarian and the vegi burger was great.

The food and drinks for lunch were good and the service was friendly and reasonably efficient, just a little slow at times. They dealt well with one food allergy and overall, we were pleased to Kavenagh lunch there.
