The name of the restaurant was greatly influenced by our family's roots, which are originated from the mountains in Poland.The style of the restaurant consists of many of souvenirs, wooden decorations, regional costumes, and traditional instruments to give our guests that authentic atmosphere. Dishes are prepared from scratch according to recipes originating from the south region of Poland called Podhale.We offer regional and traditional Polish cuisine. Our European plate, sauerkraut soup, sheep cheese soup, unique taste of lamb plate and pork shank ranks highest in popularity amongst our guests.Every Sunday we have live entertainment featuring Polish Highlanders.     We usually go early about 4:30 when I get off work. (Part time. Dinner out is a perk of working part time after retirement) It’s always quiet! We had Victor as our server the last couple times. He makes every visit really fun!we always order the saganaki. Opa! Victor makes it special.we both had Gyros tonight. Great and left overs galore! We were happy once again! Can’t recommend it strongly enough.❤️

    There were five in our party, four of us had the pizza which is always delicious, oh that sweet sauce! One of us had the sautéed chicken , it was tender and flavorful, it could have fed three people. We also had the fried zucchini with ranch dressing, very yummy and crunchy , there was plenty for all five of us. Our server was excellent, we waited for nothing even though it was a busy night. Palermo’s is the gem of the southside!

    Always great! Christmas Day Dinner is usually stressful and expensive at a restaurant. It was perfect at Francesca’s last night. They did a great job allowing off the menu selections, friendly service and a beautiful atmosphere. But, pls for the love of Italian food, bring back the old Ceasar Salad. The new recipe is not good. The old one was perfection!!!
