Named after Elias (Ely) Shapley of Greenville, Mississippi, Ely’s was established in 2008 with an emphasis on the highest quality beef, seafood, and spirits, while featuring an extensive wine list and friendly professional service. Located upstairs overlooking the Railroad District in Old Town Ridgeland (MS), Ely’s mixes the old with the new, offering time tested dishes in a cozy, upscale, contemporary setting unlike most local steak and seafood restaurants.

The food is fantastic. We had the tenderloin tips, filet Louisianne, fries, and Mac and cheese. Rolls were great and drinks never disappoint. Jen is the best! Denise is such a welcoming face to welcome you in the door! We love this place. Ifs definitely our go to special occasion spot.

We always have a good time and enjoy our meal Would like to make a suggestion about the menu can you please consider adding some new menu items for people that don’t want to eat beef or fish Also the appetizers could use some changes not much to choose from.

I was disappointed in my fish dish. Very fishy tasting and the 1 lb of crab claws we had as an appetizer were cooked way too much. One of the filets at the table was just warm and not hot and he is the one that thinks you have the best filet in town. Our server Amanda was Awesome and very attentive to our needs. Just a let down when you pay that much for food.

We always have an excellent time at ELY'S! Best steak in Mississippi! The service is always nice and environment pleasant! Highly recommend ELY'S if you've never been.
