El Tapeo ofrece un menú de tapas españolas auténticas con platillos pequeños y platillos principales para compartir "estilo familiar". El lounge ofrece el mismo menú de platillos pequeños "estilo tapas" para compartir. Been going here over multiple years, bacon wrapped dates are by far the best. Each experience was outstanding and as time goes on, quality stays on point.

I visited el tapeo with my sisters. We had a great time the ambiance is very nice we had the sangria which was great . The only thing we say is the Gambas should not be Tapas and please serve the gambas with the garlic aioli. We will be retuning again to enjoy. Our waitress was a little confused on the promotion but she was attentive .

I rarely rate a restaurant this bad but since the moment we arrive the experience was just bad experience. Hostess was probably having a bad day, very bad attitude, waitress were nice. The carpet was very dirty, at least under our table, food from previous customer probably. We arrived with a toddler and had to ask and get the high chair by myself. Very basic breakfast menu, food was ok. Restaurant it’s inside a hotel so nothing beyond from a common hotel restaurant. That was my mistake, to think the restaurant was independent, I was very embarrassed for taking my family there for an anniversary celebration. Unfortunately I can’t recommend.

Overall, a decent experience. Food was good but not overwhelmingly so. Service was very slow overall - our first tapas came before our cocktails. It also took us a long time to be waited on or even greeted. Seems like a staffing issue. Lastly, the wine prices were absurd given the 4 ounce pour they give. Should be 6 oz as standard. I would go back for ambience but nothing here knocked my socks off.

Kind of a hidden gem tucked inside the hotel. We were really impressed with the food, so many delicious plates. Absolutely will return.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Tapeo for the “Bourbon and Bonfire” experience, and it exceeded all expectations! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of delightful. We kicked off the evening with some light appetizers that paired perfectly with the bourbon flights. The standout for us was the charcuterie board, which featured an impressive selection of cheeses that complemented the bourbons beautifully. The live music added an incredible atmosphere to the evening, creating a relaxed vibe that made our night even more special. It was the perfect backdrop for good conversation and laughter. As the night progressed, we enjoyed a delicious grilled skirt steak on the patio. The combination of the tender steak and the freshly rolled cigars provided by the restaurant was simply divine! Savoring a cigar while sitting by the bonfires under the crisp fall sky made for a cozy and romantic setting. Overall, Bourbon and Bonfire provided an unforgettable experience.

We were staying at the Le Meridien hotel in Oak Brook and decided to try out El Tapeo. The food and drinks were delicious! Our server was excellent, very attentive and provided good insight when answering our questions! From a value standpoint the price was okay, a dinner will run you $50 to $100 with drinks for 1 person.

Beautiful place, little hard to find. They need bigger display outside and inside. We couldn’t even tell which floor to go to. Food and drinks were delicious, but definitely overpriced. Not enough servers, but he did his best.
