Culinary Dropout, un pequeño gastropub rebelde que rompe todas la normas con su ambiente relajado y su personal sin uniforme. El restaurante propone aperitivos tipo pub, ensaladas, sándwiches y platillos principales, así como un menú único de antipasti que incluye verduras, quesos y carnes deliciosas y difíciles de encontrar. El suelo de madera rústico y desgastado y las bancas de cuero muy mullidas se combinan con candelabros verde y púrpura y sillas estampadas de terciopelo. I wanted to like this place. Nice, open-air patio with comfortable seating, interesting menu, and a location near my hotel. The problem was that even though I made a reservation for the patio, came early enough that the restaurant was maybe a 1/4 full, the hostess sat us at a table for two (which we were) which meant that we couldn’t sit next to each other on the more comfortable couch. The area we were take to had plenty of 4 seaters available and there was only one other table occupied so when I asked if we could sit at one of those, I was surprised to be told no. The excuse given was that they had a several large groups coming and needed the bigger tables for them. Before our food even arrived, 3 other couples were seated in our area, and one on the other side of the entrance, all at 4 seat tables. I was told that the fried chicken was made to order so it might take up to 20 minutes. The chicken arrived in less than 10, was lukewarm and dry. Again, I really wanted to like this place but given this and the $50+ charge for warm and dry fried chicken and a curry soup, I just can’t.

Besides having to wait 15 min after our reservation everything was very good. The service and the food was excellent.

It is a very loud and lively place. The food was decent but took way too long for a salad and fried rice to arrive. People that arrived a good ten minutes after us received their food well before us. Server only came by once and it was right as our food arrived. So while food tasty; service left a bit to be desired.

Food was quite good. Enjoyed making our own charcuterie board. Holidays cocktail was nice and ribs were nicely done. Was disappointed that patio was street side-not the ambience I was hoping for.

Delicious ribs and steak and frites. The ribs were perfect amount of sauce and the steak melted in our mouthes as we all had a bite.
