Gia is a vibrant plant-forward 36 seat restaurant, specializing in handmade pasta with creative takes on Italian classics like plant-based meatballs, Focaccia, Ricotta Gnocchi, Rigatoni Bolognese, White Truffle Ricotta Agnolotti, Eggplant Parmigiana, Squash Risotto and Lion's Mane Steak.Reservations: We allocate a dining period of 2 hours and typically book at 5pm, 6pm and 8pm & 10pm, If you need more than 2 hours kindly let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate. Avelo Restaurant is located in a heritage townhouse on a quiet street in Yorkville and serves some of the city's finest plant-based cuisine. Our first visit to La Bartola was memorable. The service was excellent, but it’s the food that sets them apart. Their plant based menu makes you forget you are not eating animal protein. We tried their the Oaxacan Memelas, Mole Blanco, Oaxacan Tetelas & Pistachio Pipian and for dessert their orange tamale and key-lime ice-cream. All delicious and expertly crafted. Thank you for a delicious meal and excellent service. We plan on coming back!

Exceeded our expectations. Our meal was exceptional as were our cocktails. Sign me up for a class in that kitchen and behind that bar. Great ambience and service too.

It was my first time trying plant based restaurant and I really enjoyed each dish. We tried burrata, pappadelle and white truffle agnolotti and finished off with sweet potato cheesecake. They were delicious and all staffs were very kind and attentive. Definitely going back!
