El restaurante galo Bellevue Rendez-vous, que ocupa un invernadero antiguo en Londres, cerca de Wandsworth Common, deleita con su gastronomía francesa a los residentes locales, ofreciendo platillos de temporada cocinados en el propio restaurante y dando a elegir entre un menú clásico a la carta, un menú “table d’hôte” y especiales del día. El Bellevue fue adquirido recientemente por los propietarios del establecimiento GAZETTE y aspira a ser muy frecuentado por los sibaritas londinenses. Cuenta con vistas al green de cricket y a Wandsworth Common. Además, su decoración reproduce la historia y esencia de la localidad: de tonos verdes intensos, con paredes revestidas de madera y detalles encantadores al estilo rural francés, todo ello bajo un techo acristalado antiguo con armazón de hierro forjado. Gracias a su terraza cómoda, el Bellevue es también un destino ineludible para quienes disfrutan comiendo al aire libre. Los precios son sorprendentemente asequibles, por lo que resulta difícil resistirse a un postre de fondant de chocolate o escuchar las anécdotas sobre los quesos de los "terroirs" franceses.

Having spent years supplying London’s top restaurants through their separate wine businesses, Joe Haynes and Benedict Butterworth have joined forces with Tom Hurst, who has worked at Brawn, The Marksman, Levan, and most recently as Head Chef at Lasdun, to launch the trio’s first restaurant together.Located in a Grade II listed building on Cloth Fair, Cloth Restaurant is part of a historic row of buildings in the City of London that survived the Great Fire of 1666. Down this atmospheric alley opposite St Bartholomew church, Cloth is taking over a double fronted corner site that’s beneath the former home of poet John Betjeman and next door to the two oldest residential buildings in London. Inside, low ceilings, wood floorboards with antique wall lights and artwork create a cosy, intimate atmosphere, while marble tables, long dark wood banquettes, antique crockery and cutlery will create the feel of a classic bistro.
