Welcome to Smoking Lobster Cowes, an Asian-Fusion restaurant overlooking Cowes Marina. Voted best Isle of Wight restaurant two years in a row. Family owned by the Giancovich's, with recipes influenced by their extensive travels around Asia, and by their childhood of growing up hunting, gathering, and spear-fishing for seafood. excellent food and good value. We shared a platter for two to celebrate my partners 80th birthday. Was our first visit but will certainly not be the last.

Excellent quality lobster and crab dishes. Market price for both a little steep but excellent quality and quantity . We were there on a Monday in November so extremely quiet. Service was very attentive and good.

Overall a very enjoyable experience. The food was excellent, presented beautifully and delicious. The celeriac soup was divine, and dessert was spectacular. We were surprised to find ourselves alone in the dining room on a Friday, but were entertained by the views. Given they were hardly busy, service might have been quicker, but this was insufficient to spoil it.

It has been a few months since we dined at The George but we received a lovely warm welcome and had a faultless, delicious dinner. Looking forward to returning .
