Mejores pubs en Bacon Park Area / Sandfly

Girls weekend and we had not planned dinner for our first night. We were staying nearby and had passed earlier in the day and decided to try it. It was close to 7 but we could not get a reservation until 8. We decided to make reservation and head over. They said that they would not have a table until 8 but there was a bar upstairs, which was perfect! There was live music on both levels and service and food could not have been better. We ended up purchasing t-shirts with their clever Slainte Y’all slogan that the server spent time finding the right colors and sizes for everyone. Hope to return before we leave!

My husband and I are vegetarians and it’s not always easy to find restaurants with good offerings for us. Churchill’s had several no meat choices to choose from and they were delicious. We started with the Fried Green Tomato appetizer to share. It was delicious and enough for sharing. We really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the Mac and Cheese with Mushrooms and had jalapeños added as well. The Mac and cheese was great. The jalapeños were a little too spicy for him but that was to be expected. He still ate it all. I had the Lentil and Mushroom Pie with Mashed Potatoes. It was yummy and too much for me to finish. All in all we enjoyed our meal very much and would highly recommend this restaurant to vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The menu was great!! Our server was also very attentive and came several times to make sure we were ok.

The steamed shrimp and crab legs were cooked perfectly..some of the best seafood we had ever eaten and our server was awesome! We will definitely be back!
