La pizza es un asunto de familia para mí. Mi tío Angelo llegó a América en la década de 1930 con una pasión por la pizza. Trabajó duro y, finalmente, compró su propia pizzería en Brooklyn. Fue allí donde el tío Angelo inventó una receta de pizza hecha al horno de carbón. Esa receta se ha perfeccionado a lo largo de 60 años y se ha transmitido de generación en generación. Mis hermanos y primos en Nueva York conocen la receta. Los comensales del Patsy's, Nick's y Angelo's han disfrutado de sus pizzas, pastas y ensaladas durante años. Aquí en Filadelfia y Nueva Jersey, los clientes pueden darse un festín de platillos de la receta secreta de mi tío Angelo en nuestros tres restaurantes Pietro's, en la Walnut Street, 1714, y en la South Street, 121, de Filadelfia. Fantastic service! Shout out to Gregory! Those black garlic knots were one of the best things I have ever had in my life. Our group had a great time and everyone loved their food.

What a delightful surprise. We were looking for some artisan pizza, salad, and a cocktail. We found this hidden speakeasy"ish" spot in the basement of 1800 Arch Street essentially seeming like a random pop-up. Yet, it has a very cool vibe created by lighting and simplistic decor with the grand pizza oven with mosaic embellishments (Marra Forni) being the focus of the wide open space! The food was fantastic, exactly what you would expect from a Vetri restaurant. The pizza was so delicious, the chopped salad with the perfect blend of ingredients, a good selection of beer and some delicious signature cocktails. We loved it!

OMG, we had a great experience. We arrived early and the owner was very pleasant and helpful. He greeted us with a great smile and made us feel very welcome. BTW he looks like Patrick Flueger from Chicago P.D., which made it an extra special LOL. Food and drinks were very good. Did not wait long for it. I highly recommend this place.
