The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. It opened in 2018 and is housed in a 1950's industrial building which used to be home to the largest commercial laundry in North London. In a year of enjoying some great meals, Silo has consistently delivered some of the very best. Every time we’ve visited, the experience has been flawless. Course after course of innovative, flavoursome, beautiful food. Tonight’s was the best yet. This places excites me. The evolution we’ve seen is amazing. New twists on existing dishes take each to an even higher level. And their value-driven, ‘no waste’ ethos is outstanding. Our favourite restaurant this year. So looking forward to many more meals in 2025.

We had a great time. The pig cheek was delicious! Lovely selection of wines by the glass too, including some of the more fashionable Orange and Petillant Naturel styles.
