The Ivy restaurant has been a firm fixture on London’s dining and social scene since 1917. The restaurant and private room upstairs are the epitome of real glamour. Absolutely loved it!! Friendly service, but not overbearing, wait staff had really good knowledge of wine list and menu. Also got to hear a bit of the origin story which is always really cool. Food absolutely banging! Fish selection was really good, lamb belly, chicken skewers and pork belly were standouts! Lamb belly might be the dish of the night! Dad’s broth was a fun addition and story. Best dinner in Peckham for a while! Definitely a returning customer!

We received prompt and friendly service without fuss. All 3 courses of our a la carte menu choice ( as there were 2 of us, this means 6 dishes tried ) were excellent ( eg. halibut, beef tartare, pork cheek. tandoori monkfish , baked coffee tart ). We expected a high quality of food and service and we were not disappointed. Our white wine was served appropriately chilled. The restaurant was busy in this lead up to Christmas and yet our server took time to explain the menu and courses were delivered in a timely fashion. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable eating experience.

We've eaten several times here and have found both the food and the staff to be excellent. Utter Waffle is a great go-to meeting/eating venue.
