Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Our second time here and it was even better than the first. Fabulous restaurant-the type you’d find in most Japanese neighbourhoods. Nice, fresh, reasonably priced food. Love the wagyu beef bowl. Also loved the icy cold oolong tea- perfect for a summer’s day

It was my first time at Yakitori Yurripi and I was amazed by how authentic and delicious the food was. We particularly enjoyed the Miso Cod and Pork Belly - both were sensational! Service was quick and friendly, and the ambience reminds me of an izakaya straight out of Japan. The only thing was that we felt 1.5 hours was a bit short for a booking, however the food is great and we will definitely be back.

Second time attending here and loved it as much as the first. Personal favourites were the unagi meals and the set meals for lunch time.
