Nobu Fifty Seven, el primer establecimiento ubicado en la zona residencial de Nueva York del legendario chef Nobu Matsuhisa, abrió en el verano del 2005. Los copropietarios del Nobu son sus socios de toda la vida: el renombrado empresario de restaurantes Drew Nieporent, el actor ganador de un Oscar, Robert De Niro, y el productor de Hollywood Meir Teper.
