We have one of the largest Japanese whisky collections on our back bar which we recommend served over hand cut ice or try one of our sakes or Japanese tap beers. My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Mamasan in Broadbeach. The modern, vibrant atmosphere set the perfect tone for a relaxed meal. We started with the tuna tartare and Moreton Bay bugs—both fresh and beautifully prepared. The highlight was the market fish green curry, with tender fish and perfectly balanced flavors. Service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Mamasan’s creative take on Asian fusion cuisine makes it a great spot for a special meal.

We had the $110 Omakaese set menu. Every dish looked and tasted amazing! Standouts for me were the wagyu striploin and the tuna maki. The food was fantastic, service was great, loved the ambience too - its very dark and private, definitely more of an adult dining vibe than somewhere you'd take the kids. Awesome dining experience. Wow.

As a Japanese, I have high expectations when it comes to yakitori, but this place on the Gold Coast exceeded them! The charcoal-grilled skewers were absolutely delicious—probably the best yakitori I’ve ever had in Australia. If you’re looking for authentic flavor, I highly recommend trying it!
