During or after cooking, the meat is typically seasoned with Yakitori tare (original sauce) or salt(developed uniquely). We are one of the typical modern Izakaya. If you go beyond the wooden benches and beer crates out front of Nakano Darling's ever-changing facade, you might feel like you've stepped into a different world in Tokyo. This place is where Suntory whiskey, sake, sochu, umeshu, and beer are freely flowing, and Japanese is spoken all around. It's a spot where anyone who loves good booze and delicious food could easily lose themselves for entire nights if not days. Nakano Darling represents everything that makes the izakaya, or humble 'stay-drink-place', such a central and beloved part of Japanese culture.     Food was great, we ordered alot of skewers must order signatures. Also ordered a gyoza noodle soup made with tonkatsu very rich. Overall food is great. Skewers range from $7-10. But it takes a while for the food to come. Took us 1.5hrs to have all the food served. Tried lemon chu hi can't taste the alcohol. Also had lemon soda very lemony

    I really love Nakano , my only issue is the cost of drinks . I think they’re very expensive.

    If you're looking for a spot that nails it every time, this Japanese restaurant is the place to be. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Service is quick and attentive, and the food? Absolutely top-notch. From fresh sushi to perfectly seasoned dishes, everything is consistently amazing. It’s one of those places I keep coming back to because I know I’ll always leave satisfied. Highly recommend.
