Nirvana, an epicurean Indian restaurant in Cambridge presents traditional Indian cuisine with a contemporary flair. Our head chef Paramjit Singh hails from Punjab, India where the tandoor method of cooking originated. He brings over 20 years of experience to our kitchen and combines traditional cooking methods with novel ingredients to create innovative meals for our guests. As an 80-seat restaurant on historic Massachusetts Avenue, Nirvana endeavors to promote a transcendent experience through food, drink and great company.

    This is the best Indian restaurant in Cambridge and I don’t say that lightly! It has been there for 7 years and has been consistently wonderful! I go there as often as I can!

    Great spot! More upscale than most Indian restaurants, cozy in the winter, great food, drinks and service. Some unique dishes too. Has been around probably longer than anywhere else in the square, but feels up to date and looks beautiful.

    The food is always excellent. The service was lacking due to the overwhelming numbers. Had never seen it that crowded. Obviously, a lot of people like it and it was open on Christmas eve.

    This restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. I had a group of 44 and literally had to do nothing but. show up! They planned the menu and as soon as everyone showed up they started serving drinks and appetizers, there was no wait! The owner, manager Jay and even the chef came to the table to make sure we were all very happy! We will definitely make this a MUST every offsite. This restaurant came highly referred and it did NOT disappoint. MY TEAM LOVED THIS RESTAURANT
