I grew up in Delhi when I was a child - the smells and sights of the street food markets there were simply staggering. A new scent was drifting across the air from every direction; everywhere was glowing and vibrant, and people all around were eating and chattering away.Delhi is a melting pot of lots of different people from all over India. And so the street food in Delhi is an amalgamation of many different cooking styles from around the country, with some influences from western cuisine thrown in for good measure. My Indian street food recipes reflect this style and in keeping with tradition, tend to be little snacks and main courses you can eat with your hands.

    Truly wonderful evening celebrating our son’s 18th Birthday. Exceptional food as always. My thanks to the chef and the front of house staff for enabling my son to order his favourite dish from the brunch menu even though we dined al la carte.     If you want to experience Indian food with a difference then this is the place to come. Starting with excellent Poppadoms and homemade chutneys, we then had the Duck Tikka special with a delightful artichoke salad, and the Lamb dish finished with an Indian iced dessert. Always a welcome and impeccable service. It’s definitely worth getting on the DLR !

    A nice place to eat not your fancy indian restaurant decor, simple and straightforward. The service could have been better there was only 2 people running around serving and on a Saturday night I think at least 1 more is required. Otherwise they were very polite and attendative. I think it was a little pricey for 3 ppl it was just under£70 we had no alcohol.
