Goldies’ menu focuses on the use of a wood-fired grill, with a selection of small and large plates connected by rich, smoky flavours. Highlights include a Merguez Scotch Egg with harissa mayonnaise, Marinated Baby Chicken with smoked yoghurt, and Grilled Wild Mushrooms, Baby Leek, and a confit egg yolk. Amazingly well cooked and flavoursome food. Steaks were cooked on point, which is a real bug bear for me. So many restaurants fail on this especially with a rump steak. The chicken and tacos were amazing. Value was phenomenal. Karv platter for £75 was enough to feed a family of 5. Service was warm, polite and very friendly. Food arrived very quickly and atmosphere was warm and cosy. Overall, we all loved this place!

Highly recommend this place! The restaurant was very authentic. We had a stunning meal, the staff were incredibly attentive and charming. Great value for money and perfect location. Close to convent garden. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Great service, from the welcome, sitting down and letting us decide on suitable seating area. The place was like an art deco gallery, they have put a lot of effort to make sure the experience is remembered. Food mains were fantastic, not a fan of the starters, maybe tweaking the flavours and cooking may be needed. Best dish honey glazed wings as per my colleagues.
