Yauatcha City opened in May 2015 in Broadgate Circle, just outside Liverpool Street Station. This is Yauatcha’s second UK location following the success of its award winning restaurant in Soho. Yauatcha City is an all-day dim sum teahouse, where friends and family gather to catch up over a wide selection of dim sum, wok dishes, tea and cocktails. We had the weekend dimsum brunch meal for £20pp. Six dishes - 18 pieces. Very good value for very good quality creative food. The tea was also good. Matcha dessert was a disappointment. Flavour sacrificed for colour & form. Service was friendly & knowledgeable however the food was brought virtually all at once which meant some of it cooled too quickly. I'd visit again but break up the order next time to slow then down.

Difficult, if not impossible, to fault. The service from arrival to departure was attentive without being intrusive. The food both excellent and beautifully presented. Great use of imagination in a number of dishes including the pannacotta. Ambiance great. Definitely one to try.

At last another decent Chinese restaurant in SE London, there are so few. Very good food, clean, fresh, unadulterated with good ingredients. Rapid and effective service. Very good value. Some very good wines available although we did not drink them. Boring and sterile surroundings though, although convenient location wise. Otherwise recommended.
