We make British food with a classic or modern slant. We source our ingredients from the local fields, woodlands and waters. Everything is cooked on the premises, including the sourdough bread and the icecreams.The Good Food Guide (2023) says: "A fittingly quaint old building, complete with original features, given a suave modern twist via grey panelling and contemporary furniture. This is an excellent inn, with really good food even in the week after Christmas. Despite having only a few diners, the ambience is great with fires both ends of the pub and fabulous service. Thank you Jake and Zoe

Having travelled to London in the past and enjoyed afternoon teas in various locations, we were very pleased that the newly opened Canterbury Ivy were offering Afternoon Tea. We cannot speak too highly of our whole experience. The three tiered selection, together with side plate of warm scones, all looked and tasted delicious - the savoury and sweet items, each with its own lovely flavours. The service was excellent - efficient, friendly and helpful, all of which created a very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be returning

Everything was great. Food was delicious. Dogs were welcome. Atmosphere was cosy. Preferred the snug over the main restaurant - it was just so cosy! Would highly recommend.
