We celebrated New Year's Eve at Clay Hill Farm with my parents visiting from Michigan, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was elegant yet cozy, perfect for a special evening. We chose from the à la carte menu, and each dish was exceptional. Highlights included the perfectly cooked prime rib. My parents raved about the roasted duck, which was flavorful and tender. The sides, from roasted vegetables to creamy mashed potatoes, complemented the main dishes perfectly. Service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. The atmosphere made for a relaxed, yet refined New Year’s celebration, complete with champagne at midnight. Clay Hill Farm is a true gem, offering top-notch cuisine and a memorable experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Maine!

Riding on their coat tails. The place is getting old and needs renovation. It's still a beautiful building and the approach is awesome. We went New Years Eve. They had a special menu for 125.00 which was the same menu we had a la carte earlier in the evening. Started off fine with a great martini.Wife asked for a French 75 and the lady server was clueless. She was all business. I asked her to speak to the bartender who knew it well as it seems like a very well nown drink Then came the spinach salad which was a very small portion. Even the server looked embarrassed. He said he would make it good, by bringing me another salad and together they made up one regular sized portion. The salad was very good. Then came the crab stuffed haddock. The haddock had no discercible crab I could see or taste. The fish was overcooked and dry, a mistake often made and it was not hot. My pet peeve.It came with a side of while glop they called lobster mashed potatoes. no lobster could be found and it was disgusting. The bill was over $200.00 and a total rip off. We don't mind paying for good experiences in restaurant , but this was simply awful.

We’ve been going for decades, though we hadn’t been for awhile. Food was incredible, service awesome, and can’t wait to go back!

The food was delicious. We have two gluten-sensitive people in our party and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu options. We’ll definitely be back!

We go to clay hill farm for very nice occasions but this is our fifth year in a row for Christmas Day Always so special all around

Our family goes here for special occassions, and is a family favorite. Great atmosphere, quiet, peaceful and the food is great, portions just right. we will be back again.

Typical Ogunquit surf & turf options, with nice presentation off the beaten track. Decor, elderly patrons, and music (live piano Xmas songs) reminiscent of a place your grandparents would like. Would like to return to explore the farm.

Food quality , taste, and service were great. However, Dining room atmosphere needs major update Very dated old surroundings. I know it’s an old farmhouse which can be charming but light fixtures , lighting (table was very dark) furnishings , ceilings, carpet etc all need major refreshing to a more modern rustic atmosphere We felt the food portions were very small compared to other local establishments in the southern ME seacoast

The service was not good at all. Unattended servers. The food was poor quality for the price. Not plated well as well. The music was the best part of dinner. I will not be going back anytime soon.

Great place to dine on a snowy evening in December!! The food is always excellent, the service is great, and the overall vibe is "We are a well-established and great place to eat with friends and family". Prime rib and duck were the highlights!!
