El restaurante Chandler abrió sus puertas en diciembre de 1999 detrás del edificio histórico de Symons General Store. Es un lugar acogedor, con sólo 50 lugares en el comedor principal y 10 en el bar. Cuando los lugares son muy difíciles de encontrar, el salón es sólo para parados. Los comensales pueden disfrutar de una cena donde están rodeados de una bodega con una colección 4000 botellas de vino que sirven el restaurante y el Symons General Store. En los meses más cálidos, los comensales pueden optar por cenar afuera, en la terraza de ladrillos de Chandler.

Decent, but not great service. I saw one of the waiters helping his tables and having great conversations. Our waiter was very commercial and not personable. For the price (and tip) I felt slightly ripped off. The food was ok. Great flavor profiles but our meat was overdone.

Chandler’s has always been our favorite restaurant in Petoskey , we’ve recommended it to every one we’ve talked to about Petoskey for years, but the past 2 visits have been a disappointment. The evening started with a family of 6 or so who had a card game going. It included the yelling and extreme swearing that goes along with siblings playing and not preteens but in their 40, 50 and 60s, making conversation impossible. They should have been asked to quiet down or leave. We had fillet mignon that was absolutely tasteless along with mashed potatoes that were cold and almost as tasteless. A total waste of $153.00. The tip was the only thing that was worth the money. The service was impeccable. You know it will be whenever you have Paul as your server.

The food was excellent across the board with the exception of cold coffee. Attentive, friendly service. Our waiter was training a young lady who did an excellent job. The only real negative was our wobbly dining table.

Love this place for atmosphere and especially food. We were seated at table right in front of door so that wasn't so great, but the place was full.

I have to say the filet mignon that i had was horrendous, no taste and tough texture. It’s going to be a while before we get back there. Five starts for the drinks and waitresses
