This was the first time in 20 years of coming to Carmines that my family had a very poor experience. And this put a damper on our traditional Christmas Eve dinner there. Very disappointing service. Part of our order was cold after waiting for 1.5 hours to receive it. One order came completely wrong and the server simply said “sorry we don’t do that.” I went without a meal and the remedy was to offer dessert for free rather than making the meal right. I had to go home and make dinner instead. Very disappointing service.

Carmine's is as old-school Italian you can get. Great food and service at great prices. And try out their sandwich shop next door.

Portions so big the waiter had to serve us separately from the huge dish for two. If you don't have to order an entree for each person in your party you can make this an affordable restaurant.

Excellent evening and the service was fantastic. The only negative is price. Extremely expensive for Italian food Overall, I would recommend, however there are numerous Italian restaurants that just as good and less than half the price.
